I did not what to start a new post just for this knife. Back at the beginning of this post Jeff gave me a box of beater knives to learn on. There was an old Remington knife that had broken blades and no handles, but I really liked the shape of the knife, so I put it to the side. I found a Queen blade that was the same Tang thickness and length looked good, so I installed it in the Remington and put on bone handles. I really like it. Just wanted to share.

What pattern is that bone? It has a very retro look to it, like some of the older plastic handles (only better!)

I also really like the overall shape of your knife Nev, and certainly understand your vision of a nicer knife, which BTW, came to fruition! I'm liking the dark rich color of the covers, not to mention their deep jigging. I'm not a fan of clip-blades, but I can say, it looks very good on your knife. Beautiful work, as usual!

I just wanted to post one last time on this thread. I just finished these two knives. One in stag the other in bone. I look back from when I 1st started this thread. I can see a lot of improvement in the knives and my workmanship. I can only thank all the people on this sight that have given me advice and encouragement. Thank you all for the help.
