Muskrat Trapper
Friends here are two USA era 54 pattern Case Trappers, from my collection. The top one has the regular blade the bottom knife is equipped with the rare muskrat blade.

stockman, It is true that on rare ocassions you will see the USA first model stainless with both blades stamped alike, it is not something you see everyday and is considered a rare variation. The top knife in the photo I submitted above is a USA first model stainless, however it is not marked the same on both blades.

Blade Runner If you would like I will try pictures in a day or two. I am new at computers and my pictures have been poor. I do enjoy this forum and the knife talk. Stockman

Hi,
Yes, Absolutely. Email me at [email protected] and I'll post them for you and/or show you how to do it.
I'll email you my phone number and go through the process if you want me to.
That might be easier than typed instructions.
Nice example of a muskrat blade Gary! I wonder how many people get fooled by regular clip blades that are ground down. I hope people might look at this close and take note of the differences that make them discernable.
