Re: Congress is in session
Not really sure if this one qualifies as a Congress or not....I'm thinking it would be a half congress? Either way, here it is, Hammer Brand USA, tang dates it from 1945--1955
measures 3 1/4" closed, snappy and tight!

Re: Congress is in session
I'd call that a half congress.
So I only like it half as much as I would if it were a full congress!
Just kidding, that is a great looking knife!

A pocket knife is still an intimate personal possession of the individual who carries it and consequently deserves the best of materials, finish and workmanship in its production. (Quoted from Boker's 1928 cutlery catalog).

Thought I would revive this thread. I have been collecting congresses this past year. I am up to around 30. Mostly Bokers, Camillus and Case. The gooduns are a little pricey for my pay grade but I am always looking. charlie

Nice Bökers! The shield and bolsters on the second one really pop GG! OH
Deep in the guts of most men is buried the involuntary response to the hunter's horn, a prickle of the nape hairs, an acceleration of the pulse, an atavistic memory of his fathers, who killed first with stone, and then with club...Robert Ruark
