The saw is surprisingly effective, but I must admit that I seldom actually use it, so I usually choose another model, the Pioneer. Both great knives!

I've got the blades on mine ground differently; the clip blade is ground about 25 degrees for general cutting, the sheepsfoot at 20 degrees for a bit sharper edge, and the spey is ground flat.
