This little Utica has some very nice steel in it.
The tip bolsters makes it so light I don't even feel it in my pocket.
Boy is this baby sharp!

After 3 days of carrying it, I an very impressed!

Miguel Nieto is one of the most important knife maker in Spain. He is from Albacete and this is the spanish's Solingen town. This pocket knife is a 1993' "El gran Cazador" model, with micarta wood handle and 420 blade steel. Nowdays Nieto use modern steel for the blades manufacturing.

Please, post some pics of yours Nieto's pocket knifes.

I would be happy to, but it will be Thursday before I can do so. One I have is like this one you posted. The other is a spearpoint type blade with a swedge on top. Neither is in as good shape as yours...the etch is very faded.

I have a small Nieto lockback as well … not nearly as nice as that one - mine has aluminum handles with some sort of composite insert. Will post pics when I get a chance to snap 'em ...

Well even though my NEW case mini trapper is sweet I just have to go back to this old 2 dot 1978 copperhead. This one serves me better. I really like the other also, its just not as strong as this one. The thicker and better carbon steel compared to SS and size is the main reason.
I always have this Sog twitch II clipped on my pocket as well.

I can't go without toting a GEC around so these have been splitting time.

The little GEC #25 is a great knife, really a perfect little pocket pal, it gets the job done on apples like no other.

The Toothpick is a great backpocket piece. ::tu::

j-2-s, Really like those GEC's. Was home a couple of years ago and drove up to GEC to take a look at their factory and knives. Very impressed. That's a fine looking Case you show also. I grew up a little south of Saxonburgh. Good to see someone from near home. Take care and keep showing those fine knives! ::tu:: Bull

Just pick this one up. They are discontinued but I found one on EBay and won it for $21.00 (new). I'm carrying it today.

Here's an EDC that's been down for awhile. I sent it in last Saturday for repairs and got it back this morning.................no charge! Not even for shipping! I didn't even ask them to sharpen it, just replace those itty bitty screws on the pocket clip.
