GEC specializes in highly collectable and premium quality usable pocket knives. The company's USA manufactured knives have quickly proven to be a big hit with both collectors and users who seek quality American craftsmanship.
Finally got me a #66 pattern from Great Eastern Cutlery. Gotta say I really like this frame pattern, a subtle serpentine style. A bit small for my liking but a nice piece none the less. This one is the Northfield Jack version done in Snakewood.......
I love the Snakewood, my first knife done in this wood. It won't be my last!
I really like the pattern, it is slick. I do wish it was a bit larger, more like 3 3/4" or 3 7/8" but still real nice regardless. It's got me eyeing some more on this frame, both the Moose and the Calf Roper stockman.
I know they currently don't have any planned but I hope somewhere along the way they do some of these patterns in 440-C Stainless.

Since getting that #66 Jack in Snakewood I've been looking for more Snakewood pieces to add to the collection. As luck would have it a on-line dealer I frequent for Case knives just so happened to have some older 2007 GEC stuff still in stock. Had some #53 Muskrats in Snakewood at good pricing. Had to order one.........
This is his stock pic. I'll post some better ones when mine arrives!
