Here are three Desk Knives I recently made....

Cocobolo, Carrot Orange, Kryptonite

They look like the Desk Knives Case produces.

Lot's of nice letter openers here for sure!

I only have a few but picked up two more yesterday. I liked the leather with SAAB logos so couldn't resist them.

Several years ago, Ray (Knife7Knut) made this one for me (thanks Ray). Pretty cool and it works great.

Glad you like it Jerry. Haven't done any of those in quite awhile;may have to get some more stock and make a few.For those that don't know what it represents;it is a replica of the style of paint brush I use in my work that is known as a sword striper. I made them out of 1/2" thick optical grade Lexan that a friend of mine used to supply me with.Cut the blanks out with a saber saw using a laminate blade(cuts on the down stroke so it don't fuse the material back together)and form them using a 1" x 30 " belt sander and finish them with wet sandpaper.Wrap the electrical wire around to simulate the brush hair wrap and polish with a buffer and Mother's Mag wheel Polish by hand.
Here are a few of my Lexan projects including the hood ornament(lighted from the bottom)on my 1955 Pontiac.

I have posted the Remington and RCA letter openers pictured below in other forums in the past.
I'll add one more and group them all together here in the "Letter Opener" post.

A RCA Advertiser letter opener with a miniature "Electron Tube" within the handle. In 1920 RCA began the first commercial "Electron Tube" manufacturing, also called "Vacuum Tubes."
I have seen ballpoint pens with pictures that change when you invert them but I have never seen them in other items before. They are normally referred to as "Floaties"
