Flea market find ?

Post by richard »

I found this at a flea market. does any one have any idea on the maker, or age of it? the only stamps on it, are a 5 number serial number. i am going to try to restore it. it has a nice octaganal barrell. but the pump action , is stuck solid.

I assume we are looking at an early air compressed rifle. What a beauty. I know nothing about it but I think it is classy.
I'll bet you can get that pump moving again. Nice old perch belly stock and the barrel is so neat. Good catch.
Did you know that Lewis and Clark had "Air Rifles" on their Voyage of Discovery?

That is a fantastic old BB gum. Post again when you get through with the spit and polish.

Some big iron on that old gem!
If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of giants.

Very nice.

Watch the video I posted in Guns znd Gun Related forum about the Colt 1911 restoration.

It should give you some ideas.
