Bartender knife question?
Bartender knife question?
I can’t make out the maker on this one- the number on the back looks like 62837- knife is a little over 4” closed
Re: Bartender knife question?
It looks like a European knife by construction and handle scales. I would not call it a bartender's knife, it is a utility knife for campers like a Swiss Army knife.
Re: Bartender knife question?
Gunsil thanks for that input- I had shown it to an older gentleman that collects knives and he called it a bartender’s knife but I am good with just a camping/utility knife
Re: Bartender knife question?
most likely French or German made....these Sportsman/camping knives had a great many followers in Europe....using Horn and and stag, lesser times wood. the decorated bail root will make me belief its German...!??

Re: Bartender knife question?
Here's a couple of "Bartenders'" knives. One old nickel/steel and one modern plastic. They both have the cork lifter and cork screw with a seal and/or wire cutter blade. The old ones are fun to collect and most have advertising themes. Some folks call the "Champagne" knives too. There are lots of variations on the pattern. J.O'.
