Greetings!
Greetings!
Hi folks. Long time Bladeforums member here of 17 years. My how that place has grown, almost too big for its own good anymore, that place moves so fast. AAPK if I may say, is a bit more quaint and slower pace, but I have no doubts about the caliber of people here and quality and enthusiasm of discussion. Glad to be here!

Greetings! Good to have you aboard. AAPK is the closest thing you’ll find on the internet to the old country store.

Re: Greetings!
Welcome, as Colonel says, bit like stepping back in time here, and an old mom and pop country store. Make sure to make yourself at home.

Re: Greetings!
About 10-15 years ago the problem on BladeForums were the moderators. They would take quotes out of context and cause problems for members who had done absolutely nothing wrong. Sometimes it was members who were very knowledgeable and made significant contributions. Many of them got kick out because they refused to bow down and worship the moderator. This adversely affected BF because a lot of solid knife knowledge left with those people. Since then many threads are filled with vacuous meaningless posts like: "hey man, nice knife".
