The Mini-Trapper cleaned up fairly well, not as polished as your pretty Coutel, but cleaned off the rust and something that was stuck to the clip blade, it actually chipped off with a dental pick.
Tuned up the edges with ceramic sticks and a strop, good to go. The little wooden handled A.W. Wadsworth sharpened up very well, had to reset the kick, the point of the blade was way too high and by the way, that one has quite a strong spring, like the old Queen City that I made friends with a week or so back! The A.W.W. even has half stops.
Now the little Case Tested is a real mess, the back spring is broken, if I could find a spring it would definitely become a real project. I suppose I need to remove the outgassed handles if I intend to do any thing with it.
