ADDITIONAL INFO:      This 12OT, ‘Pal,’ made its appearances in the Schrade catalogs between 1991 and 2004. There are a couple interesting things about the 12OT:

First, it is very much like the 72OT, ‘Dog leg jack.” Both knives are the same size; the only difference is the 72OT has a second blade, a pen blade. The 72OT was discontinued about 5 years after the 12 OT appeared; which suggests to me that folks who use small knives also prefer the slim profile of the 12OT to the additional width of the 72OT even though it has a second blade.

Second, The 12OT ‘Pal,” is not the first knife to have the 12OT number. There was also an Old Timer Barlow that was numbered 12OT and produced under the Ulster brand as a promotion for Prince Albert smoking tobacco, circa 1964-1967. This 12OT would be a great display knife for a collection or an excellent user knife. These knives are very “sheeple” friendly due to their small size, but the nearly three inches in length packs big time cutting power in a small package!
