MAKER:  Probably made by Schrade Cut Co.

PATTERN:   Folding Hunter

LENGTH (Closed):   5 – ¼”

BOLSTERS: Nickel silver

HANDLES: Cracked ice celluloid

BLADES:   Clip blade & skinning blade.

LINERS:   Brass

BLADE ETCH:   Much of the edge has been obscured but the words “Forged Steel” are visible.

CONDITION:   Very Good

DAMAGE:   Normal wear, scratches, dings & dents. There is slight shrinkage of the handle material, enough to cause a crack at the lower front bolster pin on the mark side.

BLADE WEAR:   Estimate: 10%

SNAP:   Still has decent snap.

MADE IN:   U.S.A.

ADDITIONAL INFO:      I cannot find any tang stamp, or even vestige thereof on this knife. There is still some remnant of the blade etch and I can read “Forged Steel” and from the positioning on the blade I would assume there was more etch above those words. I imagine this knife was and SFO by Schrade Cutlery Co for a hardware or sporting goods company. If you collect folding hunters, here is a unique one for your collection. If you just want a good hunting knife here is one and an outstanding price! Sorry, no sheath.
