ADDITIONAL INFO:     This pattern was a carryover from Schrade Cut Co. the original number was 8815. The 1^st year I can find it listed in the catalogs as 1950 and it had bone stag handles in those days. Around 1961 Schrade Walden switched the Delrin handles like this one has and not the bone stag handles. In mid-1973 Schrade Walden changed the company’s name and its tang stamps to just Schrade on the top line. The pattern was completely discontinued in 1986. Based on the later tang stamp this knife was made between 1973 and 1986. This had been one of my personal knives but I found the 2^nd 881Y that my dad had given me that one is more important so I will keep that one and let someone else enjoy this one.

This is a great user knife, no side play in the blades and good snap open and close on all 3 blades.
