A.G. Russell Hen and Roosters
Here is a nice set that i was very fortunate to pick up lately.
They were made by Hen and Rooster in 1976 under the ownership of A.G. Russell.
The handles consist of stag, pearl, ivory, and horn.

Re: A.G. Russell Hen and Roosters
Thanks Josh and Magoo!
Magoo here is a quick break down.
Original knives-1864-1974
The earlier knives were marked with the Hen and Rooster logo over Solingen or Solingen stainless.
The imported knives of the 1960s-early 70s will be marked C.Bertram, Voss, Gutmann,Jeffery, Fife, Mutt,
and Carters along with the Hen and Rooster logo. These knives will bring a premium.
A.G. Russell owned the company from 1975-1980 and these knives are marked *BERTRAM*.They are as good as the originals in my opinion.
Post 1980 knives will be marked Bertram Cutlery and made by Robert Klaas and Boker and imported by Jim Frost. Frost is also having some of these made in Spain. Hen and Rooster International are made in China.
