A very special FnR assembly sequence board

This one came up several times on Ebay and I couldn´t get myself to bidding on it. I knew the seller and she is a very honest and reliable person but I wasn´t very happy about the price. Well, a few days ago I decided I shouldn´t let it go because I have never seen an assembly sequence like it before here in Germany. So I pulled the trigger and here we are! The condition of the finished knife is very good and there is no rust even on the half finished parts When I turned the board around I found a sticker there. It read:

"Firma Carl August Meis Solingen
Herr Gronauer 1992 Geschenk
Taschenmesser Produktion (Sammlermesser)"

Which translates to:

"Firm Carl August Meis Solingen
Mr. Gronauer 1992 gift
pocket knife production (collectors knives)"

So it seems that it was given to Mr. Gronauer, the head of the Olbertz factory in Solingen, for a present in 1992.
I assume that it was Mr. Kurt Gronauer, the father of the current head of Olbertz, Achim Gronauer. The company Carl August Meis in Solingen was founded back in 1875 and was taken over at some point in time by Olbertz.

Allthough it is original like this I am not particular happy with the blue velvet. Does anyone has a good idea how I could frame this sequence board in a proper frame? How do I fix the parts without those unsightly loops? Any ideas?

It appears there are 4 holes already in the display where it was previously attached to something. Utilize them to fasten it to a decorative display board or to secure it inside a glass covered case for display.

Must say that is a very nice display, with that Tennessee shield and blade, you are making some Volunteers drool!

Nice display.
I have heard of displays with foam rubber so when you put a glass cover it holds the knives in place.
