It's a silver bladed fruit knife. One looks like the English duty mark and one looks like an English lion. No year stamp though. See here

I have limited knowledge of fruit knives and marks but just going on the overall appearance it looks to be French in origin.I base this on the shape of the nail mark(a crescent rather than straight).I have one with the identical mark in my collection(see the enclosed picture of five knives;it is the bottom one in the picture).It is either French or a very early English mark.

i am with iron horder on this knife...halmarks sure look english.


than thing sure is purty...love the pattern along the blade...
