German Tang Stamp

Post by jerryd6818 »

Does anyone recognize or have documentation on the German tang stamp -- "SPI" inside a diamond?

Sorry, I don't have a picture or have access to the knife to get a picture.

Are you saying Goins didn't step up to the plate this time?

T.J. the only book I have is "The Standard Knife Collector's Guide" third edition and it's just about totally worthless for any questions more complicated than, "What's a knife look like?" Well, maybe I'm being a little harsh but you get the picture.

I thought you had checked Goins since they had the exact same statement as you "SPI" inside a diamond. But that's all they had.
