My first straight line stamp Schlieper

Post by keithw »

Hi guys,

This is my first straight-line tang stamped Eye Brand knife. She's about 3" long. I've come to love the older Eyes. ::ds::
They have great fit and finish with very strong snap on all blades. I can't bring myself to sharpen any of my older ones yet, but that day will come. I'm sure I won't be disappointed when I do.
I just wish I could afford more of them ::drool::
It's a good thing the Bible doesn't say "Thou Shalt Not Covet Thy Neighbor's Pocket Knives"
Sorry for the poor scan. The only way I can get close-ups with good resolution is taking the pics outside, but the weather here in NC has been pretty crappy lately.

keithw you give me the feeling that your poor.. ::tear::

For a poor man your FIRST Eye Brand knife was a super chose.

That YELLOW will always help you find her when you set her done or she falls in the grass. It's ez to see.

Good thing about the weather, it will change...

Just,

Sorry if my post sounded like poor-mouthing. The fact is that I've been very fortunate. My problem is that knife collecting is verrrry addictive for me. I could easily spend way too much money on knives, so I have to be careful.

Keith, you're absolutely correct. I am selling off my ZIPPO's now to feed my knife habit. Nothing good can come of this. ::paranoid::

keithw Thank you for makeing this right.

I am very sorry I said that now. Will you ever for give me?

I am a lot happier now that your NOT poor.

We all have limits to our knife buying. Isen't that a shame.

So guys can only use one knife at a time. I am not like them guys.

I can put 30 knives in a glass show case under a light, and use them all at one time showing them off.... 8) 8)
