What great tiger stripe handles on that old Catt! Reminds me of the Bengal Tiger handles Case offered some years ago.Digging out some Cattaraugus that I have had for over 30 years.

I think Case and Cattaraugus worked together back in the old days, cousins?

Case got back the ownership of all of their "family" brands (with the exception of Cattaraugus, owned by AG Russell) some time after the year 2000.Jacknifeben wrote: ↑Sat Apr 04, 2020 8:07 pm I think Case and Cattaraugus worked together back in the old days, cousins?

Two beautiful jack knives here.
Jacknifeben, that Catt is a charmer. So glad you brought it out.

Anyone know what has happened to the jbfchamplin.com website? I can’t seem to get to it anymore. There was some real interesting things there.
Thanks!

Hello Rugmar and JBF Champliln fans,
I'm the fellow who was running the JBF Champlin web site.
Unfortunately, the site was hacked and became infected with malware earlier this year.
The company who hosts the web page shut us down to prevent the spread of malware to our visitors.
Fixing the malware problem was expensive, so we elected to leave it shut down for the time being.
I hope to have it back up and running in the next 30 days.
I am truly sorry for the situation and apologize for any mysteries this may have caused.
Here are a couple large JBF jacks that belonged to Michael Lossico when the photos were taken.

Great looking old swedged spear bladed jacks.
I picked up this 32189 bone Serpentine Cattle knife. The Bomb shield caught my attention. 3 7/16" and pretty pristine in my opinion. Judging from the pocket lint, someone carried this knife but I don't think it was used much at all. Great snap on all the blades.
Information on this knife from Price & Zalesky's 15th Edition.
