I just received a Boker Plus Barlow in today's mail. It certainly looks good (except for the fact that the "shield" on the handle is a might off-center to the right on the scale). Other than that, this little Barlow looks pretty good. The edges on the blade are decent, but could use a little time on the Spyderco triangle Sharpmaker. ::nod::

It's going right into my EDC rotation. ::tu::

Thanks gentlemen for your nice remarks on my Schrade Co. Barlows!

Joe, very attractive Western States Barlow ::tu:: I really like the mellow yellow honey cinnamon colors in those nicely worn saw cut bone handles. They don't make them that way anymore which is one reason I hunt for them. Lloyd

Like I said earlier, I like the brown yellowish honey cinnamon bone handles on Barlows. Here are some I pulled from the Barlow collection to share. Lloyd

Very nice display of barlows, Lloyd! ::tu:: As you have said, that is a beautiful color for bone handles. What is the knife at the far left with the CCC, a few different companies have used those three initials?

Thanks Dan! This particular Barlow with CCC on the bolster is for Cattaraugus Cuttlery Company. Has 2159 on the mark side primary blade tang which is correct for a CCC fabricated Barlow. Lloyd

If I ever pony up for a Case razor bladed one arm barlow, I'm going to grind it into a sheepsfoot just like that - would make such a great pattern.
pffffft that's not a knife ......... now THAT'S a knife !! Crocodile Dundee
