I cant believe after all this time we dont have a nice "Barlow" Thread. I was inherited 3 pocket knives by my late Grandpa one of those was a "Russell Barlow". The "Barlow" knife is a Truly Historical Pattern among pocket knives & dates back to c1667, invented by Obadiah Barlow. I have long been fascinated by all the different "Variations" of the Barlow. I will start this thread off with my inherited "Russell" & the Supplee barlow mentioned in this months Knife World Magazine(jan 2012). They described the knife to be very similar to the Black & Labelle barlows, but did not show a pic of it. Thanks Mark
Nice knives and history Mark. :D

Simmons c1868-1960 Who made this knife?? No other markings... No E.C Simmons, No germany, no england---Not even Simmons Hdwe---JUST SIMMONS---Anyone else seen this stamping before?? I presume it was a c1940's-1950's knife because of the bone & placement of the pins & they are brass & not steel, & only one blade stamped lead me to believe a later era knife. Definetely Unusual IMO
