why would i call a gun shop to ask about knife.that sit does not say any think sbout a knife

Hi Tom,
I know they did make some, but I can't recall when exactly. I think it was in the Parker era.
The ones I've seen had genuine stag handle scales.

Bryan's right...they made a Stag Handled Bowie Set in Damacus in 1889 (Full size bowie and a Kokiak). That was also the first year Case had used Damacus for anything. It seems like they have made a couple of more since then but, I can't remember them right now

Bryan's link got me to thinking, I don't do that often. Here's one I sold a couple of years ago. It's a 596-2 3/4" D...596 being the pattern, 2 3/4" blade, and damascus of course. The Case item number is 00110 and it was made just before Parker lost Case in 1990. Maybe a few others as well.
