I agree with Harold
That is a great ol' knife John, it has some beautiful and tight Cocobolo handles.

Very nice old Catt, John. I have its distant cousin.
How long is your knife? Mine is 3 1/2".

Nice knives John and Joe. Sheepsfoot mains are not too common on old knives.

Thanks guys, Joe, mine is 3 1/2 also, looks like the same knife other than the blade. Lyle, I was surprised to see the sheepsfoot, I don't recall ever seeing another.

Here is my latest Catt I love the etch. It is the name of an old company in California. Check out page 14 of the link below to read about them.

Some great ones posted here on this page so far
This from the unusual file, a manicure/dressing/sewing set
You don't see these too often, they made several sizes some quite large. They were very expensive at the time. Apparently this one was a giveaway item. All the handles on the tools are genuine mother of pearl! The shoehorn is celluloid

MB, that's a great set. Never seen the pearl item marked in any set I've seen. I do have one that we believe was a give away at the Pan Am expo 1901 in Buffalo. Great item

MB her are the 3 that I picked up, I kept one and the others went to friends. I will take pictures of a Pan Am one that I just got that looks about the same. I have seen a few different styles so the fact they are not identical does not bother me at all. I still have the top one.

Those are great!
Thanks for showing them, definitely thinking just these were given away and not the whole set of tools now that I see yours

Dave I saw this when you first posted it and it is a great looking knife. I am not a Catt guy and because of their propensity to be re-cobbled and counterfeited I am always hesitant to comment on them since I really don't know much about them. But just looking at her I would name her Lucille.

That is a beautiful old dogleg Catt, Dave!
Very interesting bone handles, I really like the lighter colour and worm groove jigging on the pile side.

Lucille, as in the redhead, Lucille Ball? I like it! The other Lucille is the famous BB King black Gibson ES335 guitar, which I don't think fits.
Dan,
Exactly! This is what attracted me to this knife.
