ivoryman, I use brass 2 piece corby rivets, they really secure the scales (along with epoxy). Nice bunch of knives show! TERRY

No, Jerry, you caught me. I confess .... total deception
As with many cameras, if you go off center and cant the lens the right way you can distort images.
Done another way, you (I) can make a blade look awfully stubby.

I've done this with several of my knife photos.

I said the same thing when someone posted a Buck Vanguard. I've always admired the Vanguard pattern and while I've owned many Buck knives over the years I never owned a Vanguard........until now. I decided to remedy that situation.

You caused me to put a Vanguard on my birthday wish list. I've been looking at 113s for some time. Maybe someday I'll just break down and buy myself one. Fixed blades were my first love but I haven't acquired many since being bit by the folder bug.

When he first came to the states Chris Reeve offered a number of superb fixed blades. He overcame the issues common to hollow handle knives. Famous for his folders today, his fixed blades are as rugged as outdoor knives can be. And very sharp.
