This is a new "Old Barlow."
I was talking to Charlie (upnorth) a couple seeks ago and he told me about the new "Ancient Barlow" he had made by GEC. He said it was patterned after a 200 year old Sheffield Barlow. He said they were often scratted and I mentioned that was one thing I had not done yet was scrat a handle.
Knowing I am a Barlow guy Charlie said, "Good, I will send you one and you can send me pictures after you scrat it."
This is how the Ancient Barlow arrived:
I was taken aback by how nice the knife looked when it arrived, frankly it looked so nice I didn't want to mess it up. I have been EDCing it for the last week, trying to decide just how I will scrat the handles. I haven't decided exactly how I will do it yet, but a germ of idea has flickered through my mind a couple times. Now if the idea will just land and take roots I can get do some scratting.
Thanks Charlie for another awesome Barlow!
