I just received this straight line stamp eye brand in the mail today. The sellers pics were a might deceiving in that it looked like the big ol 5 inch stockman in the photos. But it wasn't, just a minty, never sharpened, bone, 4 inch stockman. I still like it and the price was still right.
Here are some pics. I like it!

It's a good'un. Old stamp, old shield and great carbon steel. It'll almost get sharp by itself if you just show it to a hone.

Lol! I thought you might like that one. I need to add some more eyes to the pile. Here, as a kid, there were two kinds of knives, case and those off brands. Except for eye brand. It was the only brand the old men thought as much of as their old Case knives. I've neglected them too long.

Yep, I know what you mean. I was raised in west Texas and the Eyes were commonly recognized as the favorite of much of the farming/ranching community.

Wow! Just Wow! Ray I see why you're re such a fan now. This is some fine steel. I sharpened it tonight, nothing drastic, just had to define the bevel and use the rods. This is some HARD steel. It sure takes a fine edge and holds it real well. It makes some fine cedar shavings!
