Two recent acquisitions in mint condition. Found at the Dalton Knife Show. There are still out there.

You missed them both, I think, because David bought them quite early during the Dalton Show. I think they were already on his table when I walked by to say hello on Friday.

Beautiful knives.

BTW; I'm totally grooving on that all metal Red Goose Shoes knife.

That is one of the most attractive tang stamps from that era of any of the N.E. makers, IMO ::nod::

Also that little line under the "o" in Co. should dispel the myth that all knives with this feature came from Germany, it just isn`t so.

Thank you, Ray. That does describe it pretty well. I tried to show it's size but of coarse the image is distorted. It's actually 3 1/8".

Dimitri, I had to look at the stamps again and I took two more pictures. I almost posted the pen blade stamp because I thought it looked better but went with the Spear blade. I'm glad I did. I/we would have missed out on that bit of information if I had chose differently. No line under the O on the secondary. I love those little bits of information. If I could just remember them. ::facepalm::
By the way, I think TJ has this stamp too.

Very nice example of H'Ville. I do have one, though not nearly as nice as yours. Bought it mainly for the stamp. Single blade, smooth bone handles, no underline under the "o" in Co.

Very cool Murph! The old stamping used by one of favorite older companies. American Shear and Knife, probably made shortly before their big fire round 1914!

See FRJ's pics on page 3 of this thread. The "o" in Co. is superscript(?) and underlined.
