Thanks... It was listed on an auction site as NOS... but ya know how that goes.... what they think is new old stock... may not be what is really the case. On this one, it is even newer looking than I expected... so I was quite surprised and happy with it

Man, I'm jealous, Jimmy! I have had one of those on my watch list for a while
now. They just want WAY too much for it for the condition it is in.
That's a rare pattern for sure! Only the third one I have ever seen and ya can't
get a better example than that.

If you don't mind my asking, what kind of prices have you seen on them when you see them, and what kind of value would you think this one is at in it's new condition? Not that I am planning to sell any of my collection, but am curious on values and such, thanks in advance

I don't remember what the price on the first one I saw was
... didn't know they were so hard to find.
Here is a link to the one at auction right now. (near $35 shipped) There discription of the electricians blade is
almost funny. "...shaving razor"

Oh, btw, since you have been interested in these, any idea of their vintage? The auction says antique.... that it ain't! Maybe 60's, 70's, 80's... but not an antique! And razor, huh... that's a good one, lol!
Condition is rather poor on that specimen... and since the description is so poor, I wonder how they came up with that price? Seems, just like alot of my local flea market vendors, anything rusty and in poor shape means antique and very expensive, lol!

Holy blade combo's Batman!!
I never thought I would see one of these again!! These two knives were both made at the same time, early 60's...
Pocketknifejimmy shows us one that has been "perfectly preserved" while the other one has clearly been in the battlefield for many years!!
Instead of a Master or pocket blade as we know it, this "perverted" version of an old # 1200 Scout knife has what looks like a Jumbo sheep's foot blade!!
And it was fitted with a #2900 secondary wire stripper/screw driver Electricians blade!!
Not a very popular combo and it might have been a special order and was NEVER Mass produced! It is EXTREEMLY rare and I don't even know where to start on the newer one's value..100-maybe $ 150.00 !!! maybe more..
Very odd to see one in this shape..maybe my cousin Jimmy would have saved something like this
Is that you Jim????
My uncle/cousin Jimmy, (Alphonse) did always love knives and we attended many knife shows together. He was always good to me!!

You guys have been very helpful, thank you! Myself being born in 1965, makes this knife my vintage, lol!
Thanks again to you guys for sharing the above info... I am promising to continue the preservation of this knife for future generations to admire and appreciate our great American heritage of traditional pocket knives

I only have one other Colonial in my collection at the moment, likely another 60's vintage specimen, (also in mint condition). This one is a car shaped handle novelty knife... just a novelty, but I find it kinda cool nonetheless
Thank you again

Hey Jim! The old Antique car was part of the multitude of casting knives that were initially designed by my father Anthony, and was a huge part of the Ad Specialty part of Colonial..
