List of European Custom Knife Maker's Web Sites

Post by jerryd6818 »

I was amazed to see that France has as many custom knife makers as the rest of Europe combined.

There are a great many names missing from that list and Pat Mitchell has been dead for years I'm sad to say. Her son Stuart is one of the finest knife makers in England however.

Having gone through all the sites (at a quick pace) it was interesting to see so many unique and creative variations. Among many, four that jumped out were "Bulgaria - Knives Bulgaria", "France - Charlie Bennica", "Slovakia - Bojtos Aprad", and "Sweden - Roger Bergh". Thanks for posting these and well worth the tour.

this site is not very up to date. lot of "custom french maker" referenced are only shop. there is no knife guild, no knife maker association in france so it's difficult to know exactly the real number
this link http://metal-connexion.fr/carte/coutell ... telier.php is better but there is shop too.
