Very old SAK executive.

Post by cb51 »

I came across a very old Vic executive and don't know how to date it. It has the old style outside rivited bail instead of the keyring. The scissors are screw type, and there's no spring or provision for a spring, on them. The orange peeler is not serrated, and has the same original factory grind as the two knife blades. The action is slow because of years of fit, and it has been used because the main blade has bfight spots on the egg where it was stripping wire or something, but is not bad. Can be sharpened out with no problem.

When did Victorinox stop using the outside mounted bail, and springless scissors?
