Who's the maker?

Post by wazu013 »

I have a Stag Italian lockback that was a contract knife for Cabelas Outffitters. It's 7" open with a 3 1/8" blade. The tang is stamped Cabelas on the front and Made in Italy over Stainless Steel on the back. Check out the pics and give it a guess.
Thanks,

I don't have a clue as to the maker.

::hmm:: Perhaps you should send that knife to me for further research. ::drool::

I have found a Fox-N-Hound knife that's pretty close model FA3C 4" closed with a 3" blade. Plus I found Fox knives out of Maniago Italy. They have several knives simular in style. The prices there are in line with what I paid. The link below is to their USA division. Check it out ::tu::

That's a beauty Waz. Here's your chance to take Gino to the cleaners. He gets all glassy eyed when he sees an Italian made Gina Lollobrigida like that and all reason goes out the window.

Come on Gino. It's a joke. At least the part about taking you to the cleaners is.

Hen and Rooster (owned by Frost) has some stag fixed blades made in Italy. That's got me wondering if there may be a connection between them and Fox-N-Hound. Anyone know ?
