My eye edc
This is my edc.I started carrying it cause I didnt know any thing about it and I didnt want to use my other knives.But I kept carring it cause its eaysy to sharpen ,holds a razors edge and feels good in my pocket.Has GXY on back of the blade.What does that mean?Age of knife? Thanks, Jason

Eye Brand started using pattern numbers, or letters on this model, in 1979. This copperhead likely dates from that up until the mid to late 80s.

Paladin, Thanks for the info! I dont think the blades are made of stainless like the link above says ,they patina too fast. This knife is a work horse. I carry it everyday and show it no mercy.

For sure it is carbon steel and that is what the old Eyes were known for, a working man's knife. Their carbon steel was some of the best ever.
