Canaco - Made in Switzerland
I found this at a local antique mall recently. The only mention I can find of Canaco knives of Switzerland is a lot of 5 currently available on ebay. One of the the lot looks identical to this one. Anybody have information on Canaco?

Trail,
Goin's Encyclopedia of Cutlery Markings has a listing for "Candco Switzerland" g. 1950-1970.
I can't help but wonder if that "d" in Candco is not a typo. That was all the info provided so even if it was meant to be spelled "Canaco" you still wouldn't have much to go on.

Re: Canaco - Made in Switzerland
Thanks, Phil. I got lots of hits on Candco including an identical knife to mine at Cutlers Cove, so it appears Goins is right (no surprise there). Sure looks like Canaco on the tang, but maybe it was just a light hit. I believe we have expanded the universe of Swiss-made pocket knife brands by 50%, beyond the well-known Victorinox and Wenger.
