KRUSIUS SOLINGEN M.i. GERMANY BRITISH ZONE - INFO NEEDED
Anyone seen or heard of this before? Ive heard of Krusius or Krusius Brothers but never heard of the M.i. Germany British Zone stamping. Blue/Black flake celluloid handles with what appears to be like a white liner under the flake material. Any info is appreciated

Re: KRUSIUS SOLINGEN M.i. GERMANY BRITISH ZONE - INFO NEEDED
Just a guess but Germany was divided into several zones after WWII. I believe this mark would date before the made in West Germany mark. Some research on German political history would date when the West Germany mark started. So post 1945 and before the English/French/ American zones were united. Hope yhis helps.
An uncontrolled accumulator.

Without going into a lot of history better addressed in some really boring textbooks, the mark probably dates from sometime between July 1945 and 1 January 1947 (merger of the British and US zones of occupation into the Bizone), although some use of the mark continued until the establishment of the Federated Republic of Germany (Bundesrepublik Deutschland or "West Germany") in May of 1949.
However, the knife may have been assembled later. This was one of the areas Parker plundered for many of his "warehouse finds." In at least a few instances, blades with this mark were assembled into completed knives as late as the 1970s.

Quality should not be an accident. So what is the explanation for some of the knives we've seen in the past few years? (from A Knifebuyer's Manifesto)
