I had another, a GEC NF 73 that I sold at auction for Tank. Felt it better that it do some good rather than lay around the house. ::tu::

Well, T.J. you've done it again. You've gone and made me envious. I've slobbered over that Executive Whittler since it first came out but it just hasn't been able to nudge food and rent out of the way on the priority list. :)

Why, thank you fellers. I got that one from Mike Latham at Collector Knives. It was listed as a EDC which meant it had some cosmetic flaw in it some where, ain't found it yet though. Price was really right too. It really is a cool knife when view up close and personal. I need to get some better pics up. Maybe I'll do that now.

Can't say that I've seen the Riverboat Gambler but the snap on this one is great. Here are some new pics, though I don't know if they're any better.

I've found that any floppy will work (2HD), you just have to format it in the camera. I'm using some that are MacIntosh format originally.

Yes, but my point (though not very well made) was that floppy disks are going the way of vinyl and it won't be long before you won't be able to get one anywhere. Geez Louise. 1.44 MB when you can get this little old thing no bigger than my little finger nail that has a 16 GB capacity. The memory cabinet for the first computer I worked on was as big as a refrigerator and held five KB of real honest to God core memory. That was in 1967.

Now if I just had a new GEC to show off. Well, ya'll will just have to do with this one.

I guess I'd better stock up on the floppy's, just in case. I've got a new digital camera with a lot better resolution and tele, but have not been able to figure out how to manipulate the pics yet. This Sony is so easy, just move the pics from the floppy to a folder in MyPictures and you can do anything you want to with them or send them anywhere you want. If the one I've got does bite the dust, I'll search until I find another. My computer did not have a floppy drive and I bought an external drive just for the camera.
