Thank ye Mr. Mike,
Couldn't have done it w/o your help.
At least 3/4 of them from your corral,
can't remember where the red diamond
came from. If not yours may have been
floating in the 'Bay.

It's a man sized four inches! Nice hunk o' steel 'n' antler. GEC makes a whole bunch of different blade configurations on this frame. I like it !!! ::tu::

Seriously, I can't say enough about the quality of the GEC knives. As well as having quite a few mint examples, I also carry a couple of Northfields on a daily basis. They have become my favorite carry knives, and I have quite a selection of these to choose from!

This little barlow finds its way into my pocket very frequently! I also usually carry a stag 73LB in an old schrade sheath. Love it!

I looked at a Northfield 3" one blade Stag Spearpoint at the Ft Worth Gun Show. MUCH better pin fit and finish than my 2007 73. Would have loved to bring it home!

This is an old northfield knife that my dad gave me. It may not be very spectacular lol but it has a a lot of sentimental value.

I saw your Casin Ivory and just had to check if your was like mine.

One thing I see now that is not the same is that I do not have 2 bolsters like yours. Is that what makes it a 23 and yours is a 73 ?

Brimstone ? What is that made from cow bone ? Looks more like man made.

The 23 is a Pioneer and the 73 is a Scout (smaller).

The double bolster is gingerbread. Mine is 1 of 150 how about yours?

some 73's are EC (end-capped), while others
have only one bolster. I saw an awesome ebony
handled one I have to get, it is offered either
way through cumberland knifeworks I believe. that is where the pic is,
i have never bought anything there nor do i
encourage the purchase of new knives ::paranoid::

No justold52, your 23 Casein was defective and the factory re-called them. Send it to me and I will replace it with a nice shiny Pioneer of your choice. 8)

Brimstone was bonestag jigged bone. My favorite to date.
