What is the hinged "gizmo" on the front bolster? Is that a switch blade release? Are those things legal in this country? I guess switch blades are legal in your house but not in your car or pocket.

Hey BigDonDon,

The tab located on top of the bolster is the lever used to open the knife, like a switch blade!
It is operated like a finger nail clipper and works great. As for legal? check the laws of your area for lever opening knives. I have 6 of them and never carry them.

they are legal to own here, and even legal to carry as long as the blade is not in excess of 3"
