I own one as well and I agree;they are very well made knives.The last one I saw on e-Bay sold for $455.00.

age probably had a role in why one went for $455, was probably an older model, the one posted is one from newer production.

Age for sure made the $455. but new Hubertus pig stickers are hard to get under $200. I don't even want to tell you what I paid for mine 5 years ago from World Knives
