The two master blades are replacements, the pen blade is original.

Real Russell.
Just re-handled or totally fake.
John pointed out the extra pin. Guess what I found today a big SHAPLLIGH.
It has the same pin pattern as the knife in question. Any thoughts

Not only has this rebooted post from 2013 been both educational and entertaining, but there have been two "off topic" comments that hit home and should be repeated.

Though I have been accumulating knives for many years, I am a relative newcomer here. I lurked briefly, liked the general atmosphere and joined in March of 2024. I have found the community to be exactly as "blade objective" and "tvic" described it, Courteous, helpful and more than willing to share knowledge. If there are disagreements, they are settled civilly. These are rare "commodities" in most internet communities. I was a member of a music related forum that called itself "The Kindest Place on the Internet". AAPK can definitely share that title. Sorry for the rant, and thanks for all for acting like adults...most of the time.

A great observation. When I shared some of my AAPK posts with my oldest daughter a few years ago, she looked around and told me that it is "the last wholesome place on the internet".
That has stuck with me ever since!
