Any way to ID the manufacturer of this knife? I can make out "Sheffield" but can't make out the rest. I'm aware Sheffield is the place in England where it's made was just hoping to find more info on the manufacturer.
This came from my grandfather's collection.

Goins Encyclopedia has a possibility but nothing conclusive can be drawn from the pictures you’ve provided. It says W & H (inside a flag) c 1845-1953. A marking used by Walker & Hall, Sheffield, England. There are several other Sheffield possibilities such as Wade & Butcher, Ward & Morton, Whittles & Froggatt, and others but none of them are listed as using only initials in their stamps.
There are a few others that used a stamp of W & something, but that is the only one from Sheffield.
