Year 2000 Buck Limited Edition

Post by ebooknut »

Here is a knife I picked up at an antique mall a while back for 70 bucks. I would say it is mint. The first pic is what I found on googleing the buck. You will notice the one that I purchased does not have the smooth handles. Mine has the same enscription on the blades as this does.

These were some of the last Buck models made under contract by Camillus. These were a special offer by Smokey Mountain Knife Works and were never found in the Buck catalog. At the end of Camillus the company, some partial finished and knife parts were sold and some showed up with brass spring rivets, poorly matched scales (forefront), no round special escutcheon insert and no special markings on the main blades. Basically you can say they were offered in two versions. Jigged bone and smooth black delrin, the original runs were serial numbered on the front bolster. FYI 300Bucks
