Here is a picture of a Tested green Bone 61213 pattern I have. 5 3/8" closed. I would call it a slim, coke bottle or swell center folding hunter.

This thread and Sargent's book show this knife as pattern # 61213.

Some people have told me the pattern is really 61113 and that the 61213 is a switch blade - not a slim coke bottle. Anyone have an opinion to share ?

Thanks for your consideration

knife7knut, your (soon to be) knife is a 61050 large coke bottle. It is a very nice example.

The knife I am asking about is approximately the same length as a 050, but is a smaller, slimmer frame and with a spear blade.

My question is whether the pattern number of the slim coke bottle is a 61213 or a 61113.

I believe that the 61113 pattern is actually correct for this knife. The 61213 pattern number I posted earlier and that is shown in Sargent's book may well be an error.

Thanks Wayne. I tend to agree that the knives you and I posted are pattern # 61113. For reference purposes, here is a picture of a Case Tested XX 61213 1/2. (Not my knife; Not my picture). The proper 61213 is a switchblade and the handle has a very different shape and it is a bare head single bolster.
