But when I've visited their factory I felt like they were very rude to me. My opinion is, if your customer comes in to spend hundreds of dollars on your product, you can at least smile and be inviting. They made me feel like I was a nuisance. I won't buy GEC knives anymore.

I’d love to own more GEC, but the prices give me pause. They are great knives in styles that I love with great materials and workmanship. But when I consider one I always feel like it should go ‘bang’ at that price. That’s kind of hypocritical of me because I still buy the occasional Benchmade or gallon of diesel.

I just looked at the CASE website and the only knives priced lower than the RCB's is the Blackhorn, the Sod Buster Jr. and a couple of odd ones. Every other knife is priced right there with RCB's but most of the CASE inventory is much higher. The issue here with most people is political, not prices and I'm not willing to make something I love to do (knife collecting) another political issue to argue about. Buy what you like, buy what you can afford and leave the politics out of it.

I started out collecting CASE knives simply because of the name recognition. My dad only used Sears Craftsman knives and he told me I was waisting money on those over-priced knives, I have 129 of their knives now. I have over 100 Rough Ryder knives and 13+ RoseCraft Blades, and as a matter of fact I need to send Tony an order in for one of those Birchfield that just came out. Everyone have a blessed day and buy another knife....of any brand.
