"I'm gonna kick tomorrow..."

OK... it is January 13th,

did anyone make a New Year's resolution
NOT to buy anymore knives?
...

I mean, at some point,
enough is enough, right?

...

At some point
the madness has to stop, correct?

So, the question is: Are you sticking to your New Year's resolution? ...

Can you kick the habit? ...

Do you finally realize that you already have
"TOO-MANY-KNIVES"

By the way, looking to get rid of any of those?

Never going to make that resolution. A knife is on the way
from southern IL. Buying a few knives each year makes me
feel good.

Counting some lot buys, I think I'm at about ten this month.
I will say this--I didn't buy Hot Wheels or Matchbox cars this time. Instead of Walmart, I went to my pharmacy to buy some saline nose spray. The knife store started out inside that pharmacy's (originally separate) gift shop before getting its own location next door. Thus, I went there first. And yes, I did buy a knife.

Def not a resolution for me as I sell 99% of what I buy.
Good luck though!!!

I have no resolutions or reservations about buying more knives this year.
Scott, selling 99% is a good percentage ... Think I will set that as an attainable goal.

I'll have to admit I've slowed down some, haven't bought one this year although I did check some out at TSC yestiddy. Nothing there floated my boat.

I don't think I can kick the knife habit, even though my wife wishes I would. My goal is to decrease the number of knives I purchase, maybe to only one per month this year.

Actually, when you crunch the bones/numbers, it is doable. Just means that I will have to buy more knives this year to only keep 1% of them!

I gave up trying to even slow down on buying knives.

Though like most, my target knives vary from time to time. But I am always only after traditional of course.

I try and stop buying ....

so, I stay out of pawn shops, the local knife shop, the flea market...

and then a buddy calls me "Hey you want that Queen fixed blade I showed you 5 years ago and you were drooling over it?" .....

......

Hmmm, I'm not so sure...

I'll have to do some more research...
