Are You a Woodworker or Antique Tool Collector?

If you are, I think you will enjoy these beauties.
I love knives with authentic scrimshaw handles, such as those produced by famed scrimshaw artists Walter Alexander, Gary Harbour, and Linda Karst. (If you don't know their work, search on those names.) They are all known for their knives with beautiful wildlife and seascape images, but other subjects are not too common.
I picked up the first knife shown below, done by Walter Alexander, from a tool collector helping a widow sell her husband's tool collection. If you don't recognize the image, it is the "Stanley Imp," a character that appeared on Stanley Tool Company catalogs from about 1870 - 1900.
After corresponding with the collector/seller about the knife and my interest in the topic, he asked the widow about other examples, and she located the other two, which I also purchased.
I subsequently corresponded with Walter Alexander about these knives. He declined to identify the person, but he did say they were all personal commissions done for the same high-end woodworking tool collector.
