Western Field dating
I have a nice condition WESTERN FIELD MADE IN USA marked knife and have no idea how to date the thing. Is there anyone able to advise me on dating ? Obviously before Montgomery Ward closed … but any other insights ? Were they all made by WESTERN?

Pretty sure that was a Western Auto brand and they used it on everything, guns to baseball gloves.

Western Field was a name used by Montgomery Ward.
Some of their knives were actually made by Western of Boulder.
Not sure who made this one.
