All About Pocket Knives

Looks like it was used for everything but pruning.

I couldn't help him identify the tang stamp although we agreed that "warranted" was probably the last line.

Can anyone shed any light on this stamp?

Can't make out the first letter but the last name is Oates.

Tweedales Directory has seven Oates listed.
