If I need some junk knives I go into just about any Pawn Shop around here and ask to see their bucket of cheep knives. They know what I'm talking about and will sell them to me for next to nothing.

I don't know about repairing 50 junkers, but I do recommend repairing several junkers first. And that will give you quite a few good EDC knives to keep or sell.

The same with me. For over 20 yrs now I have collected and I've traded with my brother and a few others, I've given knives away to family and friends but I've never traded a knife for money. Makes Cheryl mad!

I just had a yard sale and tried to get rid of some junk knives... not so great for re-sale, not easy to get rid of, short of giving them away.... nobody want to pay nut'en fo' nut'en ....

So I have learned I need to stop buying them there junkers....

I’m hoping to just learn on them. I’m hoping to get good enough to change blades, rehandle & other repairs. I DO NOT plan on swapping parts to sell, being a CHRISTian I just couldn’t do that with a clear conscience. I just want to be able to do it for myself.
