All About Pocket Knives

Hey folks,
I thought this might be a humorous idea for fun. I made the title "You know you love knives when...." then each of you finish it with something funny. I'll start....

You sit and watch "Cutlery Corner" for hours even though you know you're not buying anything.

You name your four sons, Buck, Case, Kershaw and Remington and your daughter, Camillus.

You open the knife you got in the mail with the knife you got in the mail the day before.. Guilty!!!

You take your safe queens out, dab of oil and back to rest, while your Chinese cheepo rides in your pocket daily. But if you lost your Chinese cheepo, it would feel like you lost a hand .

Guilty of all of the above (except the names)

When the first thing you look at on your phone in the morning is AAPK!

When you cut your finger while opening it! ftd

And when you have so many knives being shipped to you you lose track and have to go back and make sure you got um all.

......... buying used knives you realize there's something wrong with all of them but you love them anyway!

I'll have to say I'm guilty of almost all these things.

Or like I do, take knives that you receive in the POS exchange, fix them and use them.

I've participated in two so far, and in the time since, already have a box in the storage cabinet just for what I plan to send off in next year's box.

You sit on the couch of the evening watching TV opening and closing your choice of an EDC that day until your wife says, "quit snapping that knife"!. Didnt even realize I was doing it!

If you look in the mirror in the church foyer and notice one sideburn too long, then use a pocket knife to trim it... right then and there.

If you carry a beater knife so you don't mess up your good beater knife.

If you ship knives to your work to avoid "the look" from the wife. (Only partly works due to credit card statement)

If your brother has ever said "Allen's idea of kinda sharp is 'cut 3 fingers before you know what happened'..." (for real)

If you're half-way to work and curse out loud because you should have grabbed the stockman and not the trapper.

If you sulk all day because you didn't grab the stockman.

If you take the stockman to work and then wish you had also grabbed the trapper.

If you take the stockman and trapper to work and wish to heck you also had the SAK.

If you've ever been caught whittling on a pencil at work.

If you've ever felt guilty for hiding your knife habit from the wife.

If you have more knives than articles of clothing.

If you can carry a different knife every day of the year and never carry the same knife twice.

If you take 5 minutes deciding which knife to use to cut something.

If you still morn that new Schrade 8OT you lost 40 years ago.

If you've ever asked a total stranger what knife they had clipped in their pocket.

If you started teaching your kids about knife safety at 3 years old.

If you check the edge several times a day to make sure it's still sharp.

If you've ever stopped working on a home project and walked all the way to your bedroom because you have a knife in the safe that would "cut that stuff a lot better".

You buy a knife roll that holds twelve knives but you instantly regret not getting the one that holds twenty four.

You swear off buying anymore till after Christmas, but you’ve added 5 more within the first two weeks of swearing off (just did that! )

When your wife asks you, after seeing the CC purchase at the online banking site; "Did you just buy another knife?" and then rolls her eyes when you reply, "Of course, I didn't have one of those."

When I read all these posts and realize there's no cause for great concern now since I'm not alone.
